The recently updated "A Survivor's Guide to Benefits: Taking Care of Our Own" is a guide to the Federal benefits and entitlements available to families whose loved one dies while serving on active duty with the armed forces. The Department of Defense publishes updates to this guide regularly to keep up with changes to laws and benefit amounts.
